Nick and Teisha meet in Mrs. Verre's second-grade class, but Teisha is too nervous about peanut contamination to befriend Nick.

Nick becomes the manager of the Mac Express at the same mall where Teisha is the manager of Piercing Pagoda. They reunite during a fire drill.

Nick and Teisha begin dating again and all of their friends are simultaneously supportive and annoyed that it took so long.

Nick and Teisha buy a home together.

Nick proposes to Teisha on the cliffs of Grand Manan Island.
